Around 30% of my practice is seeing patients with neck pain and or headaches. This scenario arises from pain and tension in the muscles and other sensitive spinal joints, discs, and other related soft tissues. In the beginning it’s hardly noticed as you twist your whole body around to reverse the car. Over time these pain sensitive tissues become irritated and inflamed, range of movement decreases and headaches are the result. Tension headaches (cervicogenic) are the most common of all headaches.
Gentle chiropractic adjustments can and will restore motion to these involved spinal segments alleviating the tension, pain, stiffness, as normal function returns to the neck. I incorporate soft tissue techniques and other therapies to help reduce symptoms. If you have these issues call me now.
If our spine was located on our face we’d take much better care of it than we do now. So what do we have to do to care for our back and nervous system better?
Movement is life and life is movement. But where do I start? How much should I exercise and for how long? What is safe and appropriate for my back problem, for my body type, my age?
There is no one diet that is good for everybody and at different times of life our bodies have different nutritional needs. Negotiating the diet and nutritional maze can be daunting but we can show you where to start and guide you along the way.
